Cleaning is often split into two types: maintenance (regular) and general (deep). The difference isn’t just how often it happens, but how much work is involved.
How general cleaning differs from regular cleaning
Maintenance cleaning is regular upkeep — dust, floors, kitchen and bathroom kept in good shape between visits. General cleaning goes deeper and covers the areas that don’t usually get touched in everyday routine.
What general cleaning usually includes
- Dry and wet cleaning of all accessible surfaces;
- washing windows and other glass surfaces;
- cleaning the kitchen, including the floor and the outside of appliances;
- disinfecting the bathroom and sanitary fixtures;
- cleaning hard-to-reach spots — under furniture, in corners, along skirting boards.
The exact scope of work and price depend on the size of the space and how dirty it is — this is discussed at the consultation stage.
When it’s worth booking general cleaning
It’s most often booked when moving into a new apartment, after a long stretch without a deep clean, before guests arrive, or simply when you want to freshen up the whole home rather than just parts of it. You can book general cleaning in Chișinău and the suburbs on the service page.
